Pre-Race Meeting and Welcome Reception

Pre Race meeting and welcome reception to be held at Neighbors Kitchen and Yard (601 Chestnut St).

We look forward to seeing everyone at Neighbors Kitchen and Yard for the pre-race reception and meeting. Volunteers and race officials will be on-site at check in to answer questions and make sure you know where to go. We will have presenters from LCRA Parks, TxP&W, Bastrop County, Colorado River Alliance, and Bastrop River Co to welcome paddlers and support teams. As well as a traditional pre-race meeting to go over safety, checkpoints, river conditions, and rules.

Neighbors is on the river just a short walk down the riverside walking trail from Fisherman's Park. Check in closes at 7:00PM and the reception and meeting will start at 7:30 sharp. We recommend walking to Neighbors rather than driving. Friday nights can be pretty busy around here so you may consider getting checked in and getting to Neighbors early, grab a pizza at the restaurant and bring it down into the yard.

In addition to the CR-100 there are a few other fun things happening in Bastrop that evening, including the down town First Friday Arts Walk on Main St and Pickin on the Porch at Larryland Music (which is attached to The Yard at Neighbors). There are also several other good restaurants down town where you can get some good food after the meeting.
